GOT MY PIANO!!

For my birthday, Brian put up with me long enough to secure a Story and Clark Piano from the 1960s. It was only $100 We listed our other piano, which was in need of repair, on Craigslist. It went to a very nice family the same day. The new piano is a cherry finish and in perfect condition. It is currently housed in the garage which Brian is affectionately calling my "concert hall". We will eventually move it down to the basement. Any volunteers?

The Future You See

Play Dates

The Seymours have been helping us to beat the winter blues. Erin, Trish, and I have been taking the girls to indoor play gyms. (I didn't know these existed - a well kept mommy secret). In any case, it keeps the girls from feeling cooped up and they get to expend some pent up energy. I also saw the Seymours recently at Bill's baby shower. A little one is on the way - April 15th. We can't wait to meet baby Bill and Avanti. Congrats guys.

Hi All. It's not that I've been busy, so much as lazy....Sorry to be behind in blog updates. We finally finished construction on our basement in February and we are all moved in. The girls have a playroom, and we finally have a den and office. Ahhhh......The rest of the house went back together rather nicely too. Who knew kids could come with so much stuff?! Brian is still sad there is no space for a man room. I've offered him the attic, a shed, or even the pursuit of an addition but he just shakes his head. "Why?", you ask...Well, the insurance company has been riding us for the last year to paint the house in Maine. We are out of options and out of insurance companies. So, we are taking the plunge. Yeah paint! The job is to start in July and will probably do a world of good. Who knows??? Maybe we can finally sell the place. It's only been on the market 3 1/2 years.

On to lighter things....Our little town offers a skating rink that has a warming hut and serves hot cocoa. How quaint. We took Maddie and Hannah down to give it a whirl. Check out the pics.
